We leave the Gift Guide up most of the year for multi-occasion shopping, with a brief pause for an annual refresh prior to relaunch in early November. We accept submissions at any time!
The Gift Guide will be promoted across our network of 120+ member locations and 16+ partner organizations, hitting the inboxes of small business enthusiasts across the U.S. and beyond. These are people who are excited about advocating for small businesses and sharing the love for local entrepreneurship.
Inclusion in the CO.STARTERS Gift Guide is free. It’s something we love doing each year at the holidays to highlight the amazing community of founders we are privileged to play a part in supporting. And since we publish online, it’s free to shoppers too.
If your product or service would be of interest to someone outside your location, feel free to submit it! We curate the guide to include a section for items with a regional focus—you never know who might want an awesome t-shirt from North Dakota!
Giftable means anything you would considering buying someone for a Christmas gift! Shippable can include “intangibles” like gift cards or services as long as they can be ordered from anywhere (online) and delivered anywhere (physically or electronically).
We use the term “starter” to cross the boundaries of the entrepreneurial landscape from self-employed, to small business, to startups. Freelancer to founder—we believe anyone who has the passion to turn an idea into a product or service is an entrepreneur and should be supported and celebrated!
